Best camera / recording ideas?

Hi there,

Wife is looking to go the whole way soon after many years of conversations and a some horny situations she’s already done. She and the bull have agreed to record the session for me but I’m just curious what is everyone’s go to’s for recording? I’m thinking of buying a go pro to put in the corner to catch the room and maybe ask her or bull to use her phone for some pov shots. Any thoughts?

My other half prefers 2 cameras. A go pro will work nice for a room or close to the bed shots plus you can usually leave it on a tripod. He prefers his iPhone for closeups which works pretty well. He also uses a Nikon still camera which has a video function and has much better resolution and depth of field than the iPhone. You need GOOD lighting no matter what camera you use.

Agree with that, nothing worse than recording some hot action, only to find later when viewing it, the light was not sufficient...very disappointing. Personally, I try to use 3 HD camcorders with their own built in lights, two fixed on tripods in various parts of the room, and one mobile to get close to the action if I am present.
For me, the visual stimulation after the event is very important, I can relive the event, and can watch every single detail whilst pleasuring myself.

Low lighting is always a challenge. The very first video my wife made for me for her first alone date was horribly under-lit. At the same time, she doesn't like to feel like she's having sex at a porno shoot, so it's a trade-off. We compromised on her turning on a couple of lamps and (if in a hotel room) leaving the bathroom light on. Find a video camera that excels in low lighting. I'm not going to make a brand recommendation, but research the video camera's sensor.

I like to set the video camera in a corner and then forget about it. If I also take pictures or short vids with my camera or phone, so be it. But I let the video camera run and don't turn it off until we're done. When my wife plays alone (and agrees to film), she does the same thing. That allows her to forget about it entirely and enjoy the moment. I love having a recording of the entire date, but I get a lot more enjoyment out of the short ( < 1 minute) clips that she or her date sometimes take on their phone than I do from the lengthy ( > 1 hour) videos of the entire date.

I prefer positioning the camera generally to the side of the bed, rather than at the foot of the bed. I've done the latter and ended up with mostly footage of some guy's ass pumping up and down. Ideally you'd put it in one of the corners on either side of the headboard, if there's enough room. I've tried it on a nightstand, but a lot of action ends up being out of frame. I prefer to have the camera up higher -- basically at my own eye-height if I were standing in the room and watching. Too low and you're not going to see much. I've found that shot from a corner rather than perfectly perpendicular to the foot or side is more natural looking. Personal preference. Maybe you like the visual of as if you were seated at the foot of the bed. Position the camera away from the bed by at least a couple of feet, and depending on the room size you'll want it all the way against the wall. Zoom all the way out. It's better to see everything rather than to have a zoomed-in video of half the action.

Overall, accept that it's not going to look like a professional porno film. It's a tantalizing glimpse into her private fun. If you want her to keep doing it, be very thankful (and complimentary) of anything that she brings home.

Thanks for everyone’s feedback. I like this, I too think from the corner of the bed is a better angle then his ass! I’m more interested in seeing her and her face. I also like the idea of the Dji pocket so will see if that’s an option for me. Trouble is the wife isn’t very technically inclined and being her first solo time I’m sure the nerves will be firing so just want something she can turn on and forget about.

I got one of the zoom q2n 4k cameras just for this use and have been super pleased with it. Doesn't need a tripod. Good in low light. Wide angle so you actually get all the action. Easy enough for my wife to use it without me there. And cheap.
