What type of texting apps do you all use? My hotwife and I use google voice to talk to couples and singles. We are both able to see the text messages so nothing is hidden. I kinda think it keeps her from saying what she really wants.

Farmgirl and I both use our regular text, Messenger.
I don't read her texts.

Messenger. I read her texts (which she voluntarily offers up), but I have no sense she holds anything back.

She likes being demisexual loving with her regular guy.

Leggysandy uses the chat on her dating website until she feels ready to make plans to meet with someone. Then they usually switch to whatsapp.

I don't read her messages unless she chooses to show me something.

Lady M usually uses whatsapp. When she has contact with men in relationships, she uses telegram or kik. I never read M’s messages, but she is very open about her chats. So no sneaky stuff here. I think….. 🥺

We text using the standard app in our phones, but we always include each other in the text string so that there are no secrets or worries. As far as dating websites, we share the passwords and each other and reserve the right to "drop in" to the other's messages to be assured we are safe in our relationship.

A word of caution if texting with “new” people you want to meet on line.

Unfortunately scammers, fakes and flakes can get your personal information from your phone number and certain other texting sources.

In our experience…a Burner phone app, KIK may help prevent some of these issues.

Try telegram (free) on Threema (paid) but both dont need cell phone numbers so one can be anonymous initially

This is like condoms/no condoms. Do what your risk assessment tells you.
I have no need or desire for burner phones, extra apps etc., but if they make one feel safer, they're available. :)

We used Kik until we knew the guy well enough to use iMessage. We still hear from him from time to time.

We use Kik. If there's trust and potential to see again, we use regular texts.
