Wife - Exactly that. I think after a drink I wouldn’t be opposed to trying it either.

Me - Well that’s a change of tune

Wife - I couldn’t do an arranged thing but the whole going and getting drunk thing would be easier to try

Me - Yeah I can see that, the problem with getting drunk is the regrets you might have the next day though

Wife - That’s true I suppose. You never know how you’ll feel until you’ve done it.

It sounds like she's not far off of wanting to give it a go.

Caution though; if you (or she) needs to get drunk to do something, it's likely a very good idea to not try it. A drink or two, sure. Beyond that starts to get dicey.

Plus, there's an allure of doing it without alcohol. With it, you can kind of brush it off as "the alcohol's making this possible". Without it, it's "OMG I can't believe I'm doing this and damn it feels good!"

If you two choose the get drunk and play model, remember you have to stay sober to watch out for her safety. Strangers present a potential for trouble, whereas if yo know someone, you can relax a bit.
